Overview
Products and Product Areas help you organize roadmap items into logical groupings. This is especially useful for teams working on multiple products or large products with distinct areas.
Understanding the Structure
Products
Products are top-level organizational units:- Example: “Web App”, “Mobile App”, “API Platform”
- Use when you have multiple distinct products
- Each product can contain multiple product areas
Product Areas
Product Areas are sub-divisions within a product:- Example: “Authentication”, “Dashboard”, “Reporting”, “Billing”
- Items are assigned to product areas
- Product areas appear as swimlanes on the Timeline View
