Overview

Workspaces are isolated environments for your roadmaps. Each workspace contains its own items, products, strategic priorities, and settings.

When to Create Workspaces

Create separate workspaces for:

Different teams”Engineering”, “Design”, “Marketing”
Different clientsAgency managing multiple client roadmaps
Different environments”Production”, “Planning”, “Archive”
If work is closely related and should be visible together, keep it in one workspace with product areas for organization.

Creating a Workspace

Open Workspace Selector

Click on your current workspace name in the sidebar header.

Click New Workspace

Select + New Workspace from the dropdown.

Enter Details

Provide a name and optional description for your workspace.

Create

Click Create Workspace to finish.

Workspace Settings

Configure your workspace:

Default ViewWhich view opens when entering the workspace

Accessing Settings

  1. Click the gear icon in the sidebar
  2. Select Workspace Settings
  3. Modify and save changes

Workspace Contents

Each workspace has its own:
  • Items: Initiatives, Epics, Stories, Tasks, Bugs
  • Products & Product Areas: Organizational structure
  • Strategic Priorities & Goals: Strategy alignment
  • Saved Views: Filter configurations
  • Settings: Workspace-specific configuration
Data does not automatically share between workspaces. Each workspace is independent.

Start with sample data to explore features:

Create New Workspace

Or open an empty workspace.

Generate Demo Data

Click Generate Demo Data in settings or the empty state prompt.

Explore

Browse the pre-populated roadmap to learn the features.

Deleting a Workspace

Deleting a workspace permanently removes all its data. This cannot be undone.
To delete a workspace:
  1. Go to Workspace Settings
  2. Scroll to Danger Zone
  3. Click Delete Workspace
  4. Confirm by typing the workspace name

Best Practices

Begin with a single workspace and split only when the need is clear.
Use descriptive names that make the purpose obvious.
Archive or delete workspaces that are no longer active.
