Overview
The filter bar allows you to narrow down the items displayed in any view. Apply filters to focus on specific item types, product areas, date ranges, and more.
Accessing Filters
The filter bar appears at the top of every view:- Click on a filter dropdown to see options
- Select values to filter by
- Items are filtered instantly
Available Filters
| Filter | Description |
|---|---|
| Item Type | Initiative, Epic, Story, Task, Bug |
| Product Area | Filter by assigned product area |
| Product | Filter by parent product |
| Strategic Priority | Filter by priority alignment |
| Goal | Filter by linked goal |
| Date Range | Show items within a time period |
Applying Filters
Single Selection
- Click a filter dropdown
- Select a single value
- View updates to show matching items
Multiple Selection
- Click a filter dropdown
- Select multiple values (checkboxes)
- Items matching ANY selected value are shown

Date Range Filter
Filter items by their dates:- Click the Date Range filter
- Select start and end dates
- Items overlapping with this range are shown
Combining Filters
Filters work together with AND logic:- Item Type = Story AND Product Area = Dashboard
- Only stories in the Dashboard product area are shown

Clearing Filters
Clear Individual Filter
- Click the X on a filter chip
- That filter is removed
Clear All Filters
- Click Clear All in the filter bar
- All filters are removed, showing all items
Filter Persistence
Filters persist across views:- Apply a filter in Timeline View
- Switch to List View
- The same filter remains active
Filters are saved per session. They reset when you reload the page unless you save them as a default view.
